“FAZ-ME COMPANHIA”, is the soundtrack of the homonymous film, composed of 16 original songs by Gonçalo Almeida - who also signs the direction and the script - in partnership with the multi-instrumentalist and composer Ernesto Rodrigues.

The album, inspired by the sounds of the 80s, through Jean Michel Jarre, Bonnie Tyler and Vangelis, creates the perfect atmosphere that complements the mystery surrounding the strange loving relationship of the two main characters, Clara and Silvia, played by Filipa Areosa and Cleia Almeida.

The laboratory of this creation was a musical retreat in 2018, on the Alentejo coast - the setting for the shooting of the film itself. There was an opportunity to experiment and induce concerns - themes central to the plot - translated into songs without having to resort to lyrics. Mixing textures from synthesizers, trumpets and some theramine interactions, each track allowed Gonçalo and Ernesto to explore their opposites, mirroring the conflicts between the characters and the emotions that arise around a haunted house. There are also nostalgic and fantasy melodies, where the surrealist aura is refined, as in the track “Divina Comédia”.
